Abstract

Fatin Sidqia Lubis phenomenon, a little girl with jilbab who have distinctive voice in an Indonesian talent show X Factor Indonesia, can attrack the attention of the people of Indonesia. There are various forms of support for Fatin in the event. The community is involved to contribute through sms poll. Fatin can maintain a
profit stability that flows from the event. Economic authorities control all through the television media freely. This study uses a theory of political economy, power, television as mass media, and postmodern to analyze the phenomenon of X Factor in Indonesia.
