Penerapan Biblioterapi Terhadap Ketahanan Psikologis Orang Tua Remaja Dengan Gangguan Hiperkinetik

Abstract
Parenting adolescents with ADHD is a difficult and complex task which requires a high le- vel of psychological hardiness. One potential method to develop psychological hardiness is bibliothe- rapy, a therapy which centers on a set of selected readings. This article presents the findings of several case studies of the application of bibliotherapy to help parents of adolescent with ADHD.
Berat dan rumit permasalahan yang dialami orang tua dari remaja dengan gangguan hiper- kinetik membuat mereka membutuhkan ketahanan psikologis yang tinggi. Ketahanan psikologis perlu ditingkatkan agar mereka mampu mengelola stres dan mendapat semangat baru dalam mencapai mak- na dan tujuan sebagai orang tua dari remaja dengan GH. Salah satu penanganan yang dipilih untuk meningkatkan ketahanan psikologis adalah dengan Biblioterapi. Biblioterapi merupakan terapi yang menggunakan bacaan terpilih dan di dalamnya terdapat hubungan yang terapeutik antara par-tisipan dan fasilitator. Secara khusus, biblioterapi memberikan keyakinan untuk berharap, sebuah dukungan yang dapat mengembangkan ketahanan psikologis. Penelitian ini mengungkapkan efek penerapan biblioterapi pada kasus orang tua dari remaja dengan GH.
