EFEKTIVITAS ALAT “BLACK AND WHITE BOX” PADA UJI EFEK ANTIDEPRESAN BUAH NANAS (ANANAS COMOSUS) VARIETAS SMOOTH CAYENNE DAN QUEEN TERHADAP MENCIT JANTAN (MUS MUSCULUS)
Abstract
Abstrak - Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui efektivitas alat Black and White Box dalam uji antidepresan buah nanas (Ananas comosus) varietas Smooth Cayenne dan Queen yang sebelumnya diuji menggunakan Fluoksetin HCl 20 mg/kg. Alat ini dilengkapi dengan sensor gerak serta stopwatch dan kamera untuk mempermudah pengamatan. Subyek penelitian ini adalah mencit jantan yang telah diadaptasi selama 2 minggu. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan pada kelompok uji 1, uji 2 dan pembanding serta terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelompok kontrol dengan pembanding. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa alat uji Black and White Box dapat digunakan untuk pengujian depresi pada mencit yang telah diberikan Fluoksetin 20 mg/kgBB dan tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan pada daya antidepresan antara nanas dengan varietas Smooth Cayenne dengan varietas Queen.

Abstract - Purpose of this research is for knowing effectivity of Black and White Box for testing antidepressant effect of pineapple (Ananas comosus) juice with Smooth Cayenne and Queen variety which before that has been tested using Fluoxetine HCl 20 mg/kg. This instrument completed with movement sencore, stopwatch and camera for ease observation. Subject of this research is male mice which has been adapted for 2 weeks. Result of this research is no significant difference between group comparator, group 1 and group 2 and there is significant difference between control and comparator. This can be concluded that Black and White Box can be used for antidepressant test on mice which given Fluoxetine HCl 20 mg/kg and Smooth Cayenne and Queen pineapple juice have same antidepressant effect.
