METODE DROP PARTICLE TEST MODIFIKASI VERSI-2 TERHADAP EFEK ANTIDEPRESAN BUNGA CENGKEH (SYZYGLUM AROMATICUM) PADA MENCIT PUTIH JANTAN (MUS MUSCULUS)
Abstract
Abstrak - Penelitian ini merupakan pengujian alat drop particle test modifikasi V-2 dengan bahan uji seduhan bunga cengkeh (Syzygium aromaticum) dan bahan pembanding Amitriptilin pada mencit putih (Mus musculus). Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode drop particle test modifikasi V-2. Parameter uji berdasarkan rentang waktu saat hewan diletakkan dalam tabung penyaring hingga timbul respon motorik yang pertama kali muncul dan volume atau bobot partikel yang tersaring (terhitung mulai hewan diletakkan ke dalam alat).hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa alat drop particle test modifikasi V-2 dapat digunakan untuk menguji aktivitas antidepresan pada bunga cengkeh (Syzygium aromaticum) yang mengandung alkaloid dan diduga memiliki efek sebagai antidepresan. Hewan uji yang digunakan yaitu Mus musculus putih jantan.

Abstract -This study is a testing tool drop test particle with modified V-2 test materials steeping clove (Syzygium aromaticum) and a comparison Amitriptyline on white mice (Mus musculus). The study was conducted by the method of particle drop test modified V-2. Test parameters based on the span of time the animal is placed in a filter tube until there was a motor response, which first appeared and the volume or weight of the filtered particles (starting from the animal is put into the tool) The results of the study showed that the particle drop test tool modified V-2 can be used to test the antidepressant activity of the clove (Syzygium aromaticum) containing alkaloid and is thought to have effect as antidepressants. Animal test used is white mice (Mus musculus) white male.
