PENGARUH PSIKOEDUKASI PENGASUHAN ANAK USIA REMAJA PADA PSYCHOLOGICAL WELL BEING IBU

Abstract

Abstrak. Anak usia remaja cenderung mengalami berbagai perubahan. Salah satu perubahan yang menonjol adalah perubahan perilaku serta ingin diperlakukan layaknya orang dewasa. Ibu yang memiliki anak usia remaja cenderung memiliki psychological well being yang kurang baik. Fokus penelitian ini adalah psychological well being dua orang ibu yang mengasuh anak usia remaja. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh psikoedukasi tentang pengasuhan anak usia remaja pada psychological well being ibu. Metode penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif secara eksperimen kuasi yang didukung pula dengan data kualitatif sebagai pelengkap. Pengumpulan data dilakukan observasi interview, skala psychological well being, dan pengukuran pemahaman pengasuhan anak usia remaja.Berdasarkan uji statistik diketahui skor p (0.180) > 0.05, yang dapat diartikan bahwa psikoedukasi tentang pengasuhan anak usia remaja tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan pada psychological well being ibu. Secara deskriptif tampak perubahan pada skor mean yang meningkat dari 154.00 menjadi 169.50. Selain itu nilai maksimum meningkat dari 157 menjadi 171, sedangkan nilai minimum meningkat dari 151 menjadi 168. Selain itu, pemahaman ibu tentang pengasuhan anak usia remaja juga mengalami perubahan.

Abstract. In generally adolescents tend to change. One of it is changes in behavior. They want to be treated like an adult. Mothers’ with adolescent tend to have poor psychological well being. This research focus on two mothers’ with adolescent. The purpose of this research is to understanding the influence of psycho-education about adolescent parenting on mothers’ psychological well being. Quantitative research method is quasi experimental with qualitative data as complement. Data collection is done by observation interview, psychological well being questionnaire, and parenting questionnaire. Based on statistical test, known p(0.180) > 0.05. It means there is no effect on psycho-education about adolescent parenting and mothers’ psychological well being. But descriptively, mean score has increase from 154.00 to 169.50. Beside that the maximum and minimum score are increasing too. Two mothers with adolescent have understood about adolescent parenting.
