STABILITAS FISIKA DAN pH SEDIAAN GEL ANTI JERAWAT MENGGUNAKAN KOMBINASI XANTHAN GUM DAN POLYACRILAMIDE-C13-14 ISOPARAFFIN- LAURETH-7 SEBAGAI BASIS GEL
Abstract
The study of the physic stability and the preparation pH of anti-acne gel containing 2% salicylic acid as Formula I, 2% salicylic acid and 5% Alpha Hydroxy Acid (glyolic acid) as Formula II, 2% salicylic acid and 3% Tea Tree Oil as Formula III, with a combination of xanthan gum and Polyacrylamide - C13-14 Isoparaffin - Laureth-7 as the base gel that is stored in the climatic chamber at 40 ° C ± 2 ° C / 75% RH ± 5% for 30 days. The physics stability observation occured in the day 0th, 5th, 15th and 30th. The data observations of gel preparation physical stability during storage time which include organoleptic, viscosity, flow properties, density, and pH are being analyzed using the method one-way ANOVA (α = 0,05). The data result showed that the gel preparation of Formula I, Formula II, and Formula III unstable physics on viscosity, flow properties, density, organoleptis and pH.
