HUBUNGAN ANTARA TRUSTWORTHINESS DENGAN TRUST IN COWORKER DI PT. X
Abstract
Abstrak-Kepercayaan merupakan hal yang dibutuhkan untuk dapat meningkatkan kerjasama demi pencapaian produktivitas perusahaan. Menurut Mayer et al (1995) trustworthiness yang terdiri dari ability, integrity, dan benevolence dapat menjadi salah satu faktor pertimbangan untuk mempercayai individu lain. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan hubungan antara trustworthiness dengan kepercayaan pada rekan kerja (trust in coworker) di PT. X. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan cara penyebaran kuesioner. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 130 karyawan di PT. X. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah incidental sampling dengan menyebarkan angket tertutup dan terbuka. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan menggunakan uji korelasi parametrik yaitu uji korelasional Pearson’s Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa adanya hubungan yang positif antara trustworthiness dengan trust in coworker pada karyawan PT. X(r = 0,497; p = 0,000). Selanjutnya ditemukan juga dalam penelitian ini bahwa terdapat hubungan antara seluruh aspek pada trustworthiness yaitu ability (r= 0,348; p=0,000), integrity (r= 0,516; p= 0,000) dan benevolence (r=0,28; p=0,001) dengan trust in coworker. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, maka diharapkan perusahaan dapat mempertahankan bahkan meningkatkan kondisi trustworthiness yang memadai ini dengan memperhatikan setiap aspek didalamnnya sehingga karyawan akan selalu memiliki kepercayaan kepada rekan kerjannya yang pada akhirnya akan bedampak pada kesuksesan tujuan perusahaan.

Abstrac - Trust is important to increased the cooperation among the employees so the company’s productivity can be achieved. According to Mayer et al (1995) trustworthiness (ability, integrity, and benevolence) can affected individual's consideration to trust others. This study aims to explain the relationship between trustworthiness and trust in coworkers at PT. X. This quantitative study incidentally distributing questionnaires to 130 employees at PT. X in all division. Parametric correlation test (Pearson's correlation test) was used in this study. The results indicate that there is a positive relationship between trustworthiness with trust in coworker on employees of PT. X (r = 0.497; p = 0,000). Furthermore, it was also found that there was a relationship between all aspects of trustworthiness, namely ability (r = 0.348; p = 0.000), integrity (r = 0.516; p = 0.000) and benevolence (r = 0.28; p = 0.001) with trust in coworker. Based on the results of this study, it is expected that the company can maintain even improve the conditions of adequate trustworthiness by paying attention to every aspect of it so that employees will always have confidence in their colleagues who will ultimately impact on the success of the company's goals.
