VALIDASI ALAT UKUR IRRATIONAL PROCRASTINATION SCALE (IPS)
Abstract
Prokrastinasi merupakan suatu tindakan menunda pekerjaan secara irasional (Steel, 2002). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah melakukan uji validasi terhadap alat ukur Irrational Procrastination Scale (IPS). Subjek pada penelitian ini sebanyak 387 mahasiswa yang merupakan populasi mahasiswa aktif angkatan 2008-2011. Dalam penelitian ini, validasi alat ukur dilakukan berdasarkan 2 sumber bukti validitas yaitu uji struktur internal dan korelasi dengan alat ukur lain. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa IPS terbagi menjadi 2 faktor dan berkorelasi dengan alat ukur prokrastinasi lainnya. Selain itu IPS juga berkorelasi positif dengan Susceptibility to Temptation (STS) sesuai dengan penelitian Steel (2010).
