PENGARUH PENANAMAN MODAL ASING, PENDAPATAN DOMESTIK BRUTO, KONSUMSI ENERGI, KONSUMSI LISTRIK, DAN KONSUMSI DAGING TERHADAP KUALITAS LINGKUNGAN PADA 41 NEGARA DI DUNIA DAN 17 NEGARA DI ASIA PERIODE 1999-2013
Abstract
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh penanaman modal asing, pendapatan domestik bruto, konsumsi energi, konsumsi listrik, dan konsumsi daging terhadap kualitas lingkungan pada 41 negara di dunia dengan menggunakan data panel dari 1999 sampai 2013. Setelah meneliti data dari 41 negara di dunia, selanjutnya diteliti 17 negara di Asia dengan periode yang sama. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode regresi Ordinary Least Square (OLS). Hasil penelitian pada 41 negara di dunia menunjukkan bahwa penanaman modal asing, produk domestik bruto, konsumsi energi, dan konsumsi daging berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kualitas lingkungan yang diukur dengan emisi CO2. Sedangkan hasil penelitian terhadap 17 negara di Asia menunjukkan bahwa penanaman modal asing, konsumsi energi, dan konsumsi listrik berpengaruh terhadap kualitas lingkungan. Namun produk domestik bruto dan konsumsi daging tidak berpengaruh terhadap kualitas lingkungan.
