PEMBUATAN MOTION COMIC CERITA RAKYAT LEGENDA GUNUNG ARJUNA
Abstract
Abstrak - Cerita rakyat merupakan salah satu ciri khas dari masing – masing daerah di Indonesia. Cerita rakyat diturunkan secara turun-temurun dari generasi ke generasi. Namun, sejak masuknya budaya asing, remaja zaman sekarang lebih menyukai gaya hidup budaya asing. Mereka lebih memilih mengikuti perkembangan teknologi seperti komputer dan smartphone, dibandingkan untuk mengenal budayanya sendiri. Minat baca di Indonesia memang rendah, namun dari banyaknya jenis buku yang ada remaja Indonesia lebih suka membaca buku komik. Oleh sebab itu, untuk meningkatkan minat baca remaja Indonesia dibuatlah motion comic cerita rakyat Legenda Gunung Arjuna. Motion comic ini dibuat dengan harapan dapat membuat remaja lebih tertarik untuk mengenal dan melestarikan budaya Indonesia. Analisis dilakukan terhadap remaja untuk mengetahui masalah apa yang terjadi saat ini, serta menganalisis media sejenis. Dalam pembuatan motion comic ini diperlukan teori – teori yang mendukung seperti cerita rakyat, sinopsis Legenda Gunung Arjuna dan motion comic. Selanjutnya, dilakukan pembuatan desain yang diperlukan dalam motion comic seperti desain karakter, desain lingkungan, narasi, storyboard, interface flow diagram, desain halaman, elemen interface dan desain logo. Dari desain yang telah dibuat akan diimplementasikan dengan menggunakan software Adobe Illustrator CC, Adobe Photoshop CC, Adobe After Effects CC, Adobe Premiere CC, Audacity dan Adobe Animate CC. Tahap selanjutnya adalah tahap uji coba dan evaluasi kepada remaja. Hasil uji coba tersebut menyatakan bahwa motion comic cerita rakyat Legenda Gunung Arjuna dapat menarik minat remaja untuk membaca cerita rakyat serta dapat melestarikan budaya Indonesia.

Abstract - Folklore is one of the distinctive features of each region in Indonesia. Folklore passed down orally from generation to generation. However, since the influx of foreign culture, teenagers nowadays prefer foreign cultural lifestyle. They prefer to follow the development of technology such as computers and Smartphones, compared to get to know the culture of its own. Indonesia was indeed read on the interest is low, but the number of types of books there are teenagers Indonesia prefers to read comic books. Therefore, to increase interest in reading teen Indonesia Congressional motion comic folk tale the legend of Mount Arjuna. Motion comic is made with the hope of making teenagers more interested to get to know and preserve the culture of Indonesia. The analysis is performed against the teens to know what problems are occurring now, as well as analyzing the media. In making the motion comic is necessary theory – theory that supports such as folklore, Legends of Mount Arjuna synopsis and a motion comic. Next, do the necessary design creation in motion comic like character design, environmental design, narratives, storyboards, interface flow diagrams, page design, logo design and interface elements. From a design that has been made will be implemented using the software Adobe Illustrator CC, Adobe Photoshop CC, Adobe After Effects CC, Adobe Premiere CC, Audacity and Adobe Animate CC. The next stage is the stage of testing and evaluation to teens. Trial results indicated that the motion comic folk tale the legend of Mount Arjuna can teenagers to read folklore and can preserve the culture of Indonesia.
