Abstract

Abstrak—Adaptasi adalah penyesuaian diri yang dilakukan makhluk hidup untuk bertahan hidup di lingkungan baru. Namun, pada penelitian kali ini akan berfokus kepada mahasiswa 2019 yang sedang menempuh pendidikan di Universitas Surabaya. Metode yang digunakan oleh peneliti yaitu pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan paradigma descriptive phenomenology, penelitian ini dilakukan dengan observasi dan wawancara. Partisipan penelitian menggunakan 5 mahasiswi angkatan 2019. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses mahasiswa beradaptasi selama masa pandemi. hasil Implikasi dalam penelitian ini adalah adaptasi yang dilakukan oleh partisipan berbeda-beda. perubahan yang dilakukan oleh partisipan dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal dan eksternal. faktor-faktor tersebut yang mempengaruhi keberhasilan partisipan dalam melakukan adaptasi di masa pandemi dan pembelajaran online. pada masa pandemi ini memiliki dampak positif dan negatif yang ditemukan seperti dampak positif dengan mendapatkan waktu quality time lebih banyak dengan keluarga, memiliki waktu yang efisien, dan dalam belajar online belajar fitur-fitur baru. sedangkan dampak negatif dari adanya pandemi yaitu menurunnya ekonomi, kurang konsentrasi karena suasana rumah yang tidak kondusif, cepat bosan, mengatur waktu dalam penggunaan laptop dan handphone untuk mengurangi dampak fisik. Maka dari itu, perubahan ini pun berpengaruh kuat dengan perasaan yang dimiliki oleh partisipan. Perubahan pada masa pandemi berkaitan dengan perasaan, dimana pada masa ini lah partisipan merasa lebih cepat bosan, jenuh, stres, mood yang naik turun karena pada masa pandemi partisipan tidak bisa melakukan kegiatan yang dilakukan pada saat sebelum pandemi.

Abstract -Adaptation is the ability of living beings to adjust to a new environment. However, this research will focus on 2019 students who are currently studying at the University of Surabaya. This study aims to find out how the process of students adapting to academics during the pandemic. This research method uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive phenomenology paradigm by means of observation and interviews. The research participants used 5 female students from the class of 2019. The purpose of this study was to find out how the process of students adapting during the pandemic. The results of this study imply that the adaptations carried out by the participants are different. internal and external factors influence the changes made by participants. These factors affect the success of participants in adapting to the pandemic and online learning. During this pandemic, positive and negative impacts were found, such as positive impacts by getting more quality time with family, having efficient time, and learning new features. While the negative effects of the pandemic are the economic downturn, lack of concentration due to a non-conducive home atmosphere, easily get bored, and managing time using laptops and cellphones to reduce physical impacts. Therefore, this change also has a strong effect on the feelings held by the participants. Changes during the pandemic are related to feelings, where at this time participants feel bored, saturated, stressed, mood swings up and down because during the pandemic the participants could not do the activities they did before the pandemic.
