ANALISIS DAN PERANCANGAN SISTEM INFORMASI PRODUKSI YANG TERINTEGRASI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN EFEKTIFITAS DAN EFISIENSI DI PT. KKM MALANG
Abstract
Informasi yang cepat dan tepat dari sistem produksi diperlukan dalam pengembangan perusahaan agar efektifitas dan efisiensi dapat tercapai. Salah satu cara yang dapat digunakan untuk tercapainya efektifitas dan efisiensi dalam sistem produksi adalah dengan melakukan pengintegrasian sistem. PT. KKM merupakan sebuah perusahaan manufaktur yang bergerak dalam bidang industri pembuatan furniture. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi oleh perusahaan adalah ketidakakuratan informasi dalam sistem produksi. Efektifitas yang dapat dicapai dari implementasi sistem produksi yang terintegrasi adalah tercapainya tujuan perusahaan dan adanya pengendalian dalam sistem produksi. Efisiensi yang dapat dicapai dari implementasi sistem produksi yang terintegrasi adalah desain produk yang lebih efisien, informasi inventori yang lebih akurat, perencanaan dan penjadwal produksi yang fleksibel, proses produksi menjadi lebih terkontrol, dan perhitungan biaya produksi yang akurat.
