PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN MEDIA SOSIAL TERHADAP CONSPICUOUS ONLINE CONSUMPTION DIANTARA PENGGUNA YANG BERDOMISILI DI SURABAYA
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh penggunaan media sosial terhadap Conspicuous Online Consumption melalui iri hati, narsisme, dan keinginan untuk mempromosikan diri diantara pengguna yang berdomisili Surabaya. Hasil dalam penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media sosial berpengaruh positif terhadap iri hati dan narsisme. Tetapi, keinginan untuk mempromosikan diri berpengaruh negatif terhadap Conspicuous Online Consumption dan keinginan untuk mempromosikan diri. Narsisme menunjukkan adanya pengaruh positif terhadap keinginan untuk mempromosikan diri dan Conspicuous Online Consumption diantara pengguna yang berdomisili di Surabaya.
