STUDI DESKRIPTIF PERBEDAAN MOTIVASI WISATAWAN FIRST TIMEVISITOR DAN REPEAT VISITOR BERKUNJUNG KE BALI
Abstract
Abstrak - Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menggambarkan perbedaan motivasi wisatawan first time visitor dan repeat visitor. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan data primer, yang diolah menggunakan teknik statistik dasar dan Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) untuk memperoleh gambaran yang lebih detail. Sebagai tambahannya, digunakan juga independent t tests untuk membandingkan motivasi antara first time visitor dan repeat visitor. Pengujian dan pengolahan juga dibantu menggunakan program SPSS 18.0 for Windows, agar lebih efektif dan efisien. Dari hasil penelitian, ditemukan bahwa wisatawan memiliki tanggapan yang positif terhadap faktor-faktor motivasi wisatawan berkunjung ke Bali. Faktor motivasi yang dominan bagi first time visitor adalah novelty seeking, sedangkan faktor motivasi yang kurang mempengaruhi keputusan first time visitor dalam berkunjung ke Bali adalah stress busting/ fun. Faktor motivasi yang dominan bagi repeat visitor adalah stress busting/ fun, sedangkan faktor motivasi yang kurang mempengaruhi keputusan repeat visitor dalam berkunjung ke Bali adalam achievementHasil ini dapat memberikan informasi yang berharga bagi pihak dinas pariwisata dan industri pariwisata di Bali untuk dapat mengembangkan pariwisata di Bali.

Abstract – The purpose of this study was to determine and describe the differences traveler motivations first time visitors and repeat visitors. This research is a descriptive study using primary data, which is processed using basic statistical techniques and Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) to obtain a more detailed picture. In addition, this study also use independent t tests to compare the motivations between first time visitors and repeat visitors. The data was tested and analyzed by SPSS 18.0 for Windows, to make it more effective and efficient. From the research, it was found that travelers had a positive response to the tourist motivational factors of visit Bali. The dominant motivating factor for the first time visitor is the novelty seeking, whereas less motivating factor influencing decisions in the first-time visitor to Bali is stress busting / fun. The dominant motivating factor for repeat visitors is a stress busting / fun, while motivating factor is less influenced the decision in repeat visitors to Bali is achievement. These results can provide valuable information for the department of tourism and the tourism industry in Bali to develop tourism in Bali.
