Abstract

Intisari - Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji dan menganalisis pengaruh sewa sumber daya alam terhadap penanaman modal asing (PMA) di 13 negara Asia pada 2005-2014. Pertumbuhan PDB sangat penting bagi sebuah negara karena mencerminkan pertumbuhan ekonomi negara tersebut. Salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan PDB dengan penanaman modal asing (PMA). Sumber daya alam merupakan salah satu faktor yang dapat menarik investasi pada sebuah negara. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan metode analisis regresi Ordinary Least Square OLS untuk data panel dengan software E-views 7. Data yang digunakan merupakan data sekunder yang di peroleh dari World Bank. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa mineral rent, oil rent, dan banking sector credit berpengaruh signifikan terhadap PMA.

Abstract - The purpose of this study is to examine and to analyze the influence of natural resources on foreign direct investment (FDI) in 13 Asian countries period 2005-2014. GDP growth is very important for a country as reflects the country's economic growth, FDI is one way to increase GDP growth. Natural resources is one factor that can attract investment in a country. Data management is using Ordinary Least Square is a method of data panel with software Eviews 7. The data used are secondary data obtained from the World Bank. These results indicate that the mineral rent, oil rent, and banking sector credits is a varriable that can attract FDI into the country.
