Abstract

Abstract — Aminoglicoside are categorized as cochleotoxic and vestibulotoxic drugs that can cause patients to experience hearing loss or vertigo, depends on what type of aminoglicoside consumed. This paper discuss type, pharmaceutical preparation, pharmacokinetics, work mechanism and clinical use of aminoglycoside. How to diagnose, treatment, and also how to prevent aminoglicoside ototoxicity are also explained further in this paper.
