Vol. 38 No. 1 (2023): ANIMA Indonesian Psychological Journal (Vol. 38, No. 1, 2023)
All articles in this issue include authors from 2 countries of origin (Indonesia and United States of America).
Welcome to this edition of ANIMA Indonesian Psychological Journal, which contains 10 fascinating manuscripts in the field of psychology. Alongside 8 research articles, in 38(1) we also prepared 2 editorial articles, regarding Letter to Editor (LtE) and academic integrity in regards to artificial intelligence (AI).
In the Industry 4.0 era, psychology is experiencing very rapid development, including in Indonesia, which has complex dynamics of human behavior and is intertwined with a rich cultural diversity. This requires us to communicate our research and study findings in a concise, communicative, and persuasive manner.
The rise of artificial intelligence, such as ChatGPT, has generated buzz in the research and higher education community, both as a tool and as an author. With this in mind, we are honored to have Professor Ulrich Kozok as a member of the editorial board, who delves into the crucial issue of academic integrity in publishing research and its significance for students and academics both locally and globally.
We have great expectations that readers will find these essays to be not only informative but also inspiring. We thank you in advance for taking the time to read them. You are also urged to share your comments with us through the Letter to Editor (LtE) section, which we have reintroduced as a sort of article in our journal. The purpose of this feature is to express ideas and questions that we hope may stimulate breakthroughs in psychology.
Last but not least, we would like to convey Edwin Adrianta Surijah our most heartfelt gratitude for the remarkable amount of devotion and skill he has shown while serving as the Co-Editor-in-Chief of ANIMA Indonesian Psychological Journal. At the same time , we would like to offer our most heartfelt congratulations to Juneman Abraham on his willingness and commitment to work alongside Ide Bagus Siaputra in the capacity of Co-Editor-in-Chief of ANIMA Indonesian Psychological Journal.
Sincerely,
Editors of ANIMA Indonesian Psychological Journal.
